We take a look at three players who could depart West Ham United in the New Year.

West Ham United's form this season has increased expectations at the Boleyn Ground, and it means that Sam Allardyce may have to have a January clear-out to make room for some improved additions.

The Hammers are currently in the top four and are chasing a European spot. It leaves a number of their players in their squad seemingly short of the quality required to perform a function in the first-team and in this piece we look at three who could be moved on in January.

Ravel Morrison

The attacking midfielder has occasionally shown the talent which made him one of the most highly rated youngsters in the country at Upton Park, but he looks surplus to requirements now.

A spell at the start of the 2013/14 campaign was Morrison's most notable period of time at Upton Park, but it seems that he has burnt his bridges with manager Sam Allardyce.

Morrison's ability has never been in question, but his attitude threatens to endanger his career.

Once tipped to become an England international, he is currently struggling to break into Cardiff City's team on a loan spell.

Morrison is at a period in his career where it is becoming make or break and a fresh start may be the only thing which kicks him into action.

Ricardo Vaz Te

A mercurial presence, on his day Vaz Te can be a match-winner, but his best form has come in the second tier.

Despite possessing a great amount of skill his end product can be wayward and he isn't of the quality needed to move West Ham forward now.

Vaz Te has played just five times in the Premier League this season and has only made one appearance since August, meaning that an exit appears imminent.

Matt Jarvis

Although he is only just returning from injury, Jarvis's future at West Ham is starting to come under pressure.

The fleet-footed wide man has never really lived up to expectations since arriving from Wolverhampton Wanderers back in 2012 and the club's advancements may have left him behind.

Jarvis has been linked with West Bromwich Albion in recent times and that could be a good move for him, as he has little chance of breaking into the starting line-up at Upton Park.
