Predicted Manchester City XI to play Roma - Who does Pellegrini trust?

Here is the possible side Manchester City could name to play Roma.

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini will be hoping for a big performance from his side as they take on Roma in a difficult match, as they aim for a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.

City need to beat Roma and hope that Bayern Munich don’t take their foot off the gas in order to get into the first knock out round of the competition but it won’t be easy.

A point would be enough for Roma, providing Bayern defeat CSKA. And that puts City under pressure to play aggressive and expansive football as they go after a positive result.

The danger is that could leave space and if Roma are patient enough, they have the players needed to take advantage of that space on the counter attack.

City’s form in the Premier League leading up to this game has been good and should work to their advantage in terms of momentum as the side moves forward.

Here is the potential team that Pellegrini could select to play tomorrow night.

Manchester City: Hart, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Mangala, Clichy, Navas, Fernando, Lampard, Milner, Nasri, Dzeko
