Chelsea talents and Tottenham legend react on Twitter to Ramsey wondergoal

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey scored a stunner against Galatasaray in a 4-1 win last night.

At the start of last season Aaron Ramsey was simply sensational for Arsenal. He was banging in the goals and picking up the accolades along the way.

The Welshman was, at the time, being touted as perhaps the future Arsenal Frank Lampard and was becoming the first name on the team sheet. If only he could stay fit, if only!

On Boxing Day he suffered a groin injury against West Ham and in honesty has struggled to find his best form since.

Against Galatasaray this Tuesday he certainly looked that.

He was sensational as Arsenal put the Turkish side to the sword, Ramsey scoring the second and third goals on the night.

The second in particular caught the eye. Joel Campbell took an Arsenal corner which bounced its way out toward Ramsey, who fired in a fantastic left-foot half-volley from outside the box.

It was a superb goal and one which many were already claiming as potentially the greatest goal of the Champions League this season.

And after the ball hit the back of the net there was plenty of reaction from some well-known footballing names. Including Chelsea youngsters Nathaniel Chalobah and Dominic Solanke, former Tottenham hero Gary Lineker and ex-Arsenal player Nico Yennaris.
