Marco Reus

Marco Reus is Borussia Dortmund's for now but could soon be bringing his charitable nature to the Premier League with Arsenal, Manchester City or Chelsea.

Marco Reus has been adding another string to his already impressive bow.

Not content with being one of the finest footballers on the planet, the Germany international has been moonlighting as a boot designer.

PUMA sat down with the talented forward to discuss what motivates and moves him in the sporting world and beyond. He discussed “hope” and its impact on children around the world and they came up with the evoSPEED Marco Reus Tricks!

The colours are those of his current club, Borussia Dortmund, and proceeds from sales – with just 400 pairs being made available worldwide - will support the Elterntreff Dortmund e .V. - a hospital specialising in treating children with cancer in Dortmund.

The execution features a unique graphic on each side of the boot inspired by the BVB affiliated children's charity Reus is particularly passionate about and reflects his sense of positivity.

On the medial side is an illustration made up of inspirational typography using words in many different languages, depicting an adult hand holding a child's hand. The lateral side features a subtle repeat pattern representing the 6000 children who are patients at Dortmund Hospital every year.

All very impressive and it could be that Reus is sporting this fetching footwear in the Premier League in the not too distant future, with reports continuing to suggest that he is a January transfer target for the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.
