Arsenal star Joel Campbell made only his second competitive start for the club in the clash with Galatasaray.
The Costa Rican impressed at the World Cup, but has found opportunities hard to come by.
His only previous game came in the 2-1 Capital One Cup defeat to Southampton, but this one ended in more satisfactory fashion, with Arsenal recording a 4-1 win.
Campbell played all 90 minutes in the win, but did he do enough to show Arsene Wenger he deserves more opportunities?
His performance was not as explosive as Lukas Podolski's two goal show, but he nonetheless showed some nice touches.
The youngster had two shots on goal, with one on target, and created two goalscoring opportunities for his teammates.
He made three successful dribbling runs, the joint highest of any Arsenal player, matched only by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Hector Bellerin.
Defensively he attempted three tackles, but did find himself dispossessed on four occasions, more than any other Arsneal player on the night.
A little rustiness should be expected however, given the fact he has barely played at all since the World Cup back in June.
Here's a look at how fans reacted on Twitter to his display...
Joel Campbell's played decent for a player who's barely played a full game this season #AFC— THEO WALCÖTT ♥ (@SanchezScores) December 9, 2014
