Fans have suggested via a poll on the Daily Mirror’s website that Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker is the best right-back in England when fully fit.
Around 72% of fans, at the time of writing, suggested that when fit, there's no better Englishman in Walker's position.
Walker is expected to make his return to the Tottenham senior side later this week, when spurs travel to Besiktas in the Europa League looking to win the group.
Walker underwent abdominal surgery earlier this year and has since returned to the under-21 ranks as he fights for a place back in the Spurs first team under Mauricio Pochettino.
Whether he starts on Thursday or features off the bench, it’s a great chance for him to show the Argentine why he should be the first name down on the team sheet each week when it comes to the Spurs back four.
However, whether he’s a better right-back candidate than Nathaniel Clyne is something he’ll have to prove to Roy Hodgson with his performances over the Christmas and New Year period.
