16-year-old Tottenham Hotspur wonderkid Ismail Azzaoui scores hat-trick in FA Youth Cup win

Ismail Azzaoui scored a hat-trick in Tottenham's FA Youth Cup win over Blackburn Rovers.

Tottenham Hotspur's FA Youth Cup clash with Blackburn turned into a one-man show with Ismail Azzaoui bagging a hat-trick to lead a 4-1 victory.

Joshua Onomah scored Tottenham's other goal, but Azzaoui's superb individual efforts stole the show.

The teenager's second and third goals in particular were stunning solo efforts:

So what can we tell you about the teenager? Well, Azzaoui is only 16-years-old, and will be eligible to sign a professional contract with Spurs when he turns 17 on January 8.

He signed with the club officially this August from Anderlecht, and is a Belgian under-17 international.

Azzaoui has already made it into the Tottenham under-21 team, coming off the bench earlier this season for the side.

He is an attacking midfielder who can play on either wing and has inevitably been compared by the media to Manchester United attacker Adnan Januzaj, having come through the same academy system.

While representing Belgium ever since under-15 level, he is also eligible to play for Morocco.

Tottenham's full side against Blackburn was: Glover, Walker-Peters, Muscatt, Amos, Carter-Vickers, Walkes, Georgiou (Loft, 81), Onomah (Stylianides, 76), Harrison, Goddard (Ross, 88), Azzaoui. Unused subs: Voss, Sterling.
