Villa fans react on Twitter to Okore's performance against Leicester

Aston Villa defeated Leicester City 2-1 on Sunday but what did their fans think of Jores Okore's performance?

Aston Villa secured their second consecutive win by beating Leicester City 2-1 on Sunday, and Paul Lambert's side have the wind in their sails at precisely the right time.

A busy festive period can swallow the best of them but now they are back to winning ways Villa will look ahead to their December fixtures with renewed hope; not least because of the form of defensive duo Ciaran Clark and Jores Okore.

The former scored the equalising goal after Lenoardo Ulloa had put the Foxes ahead, while the latter shone in the heart of Villa's defence.

Okore had a passing accuracy of 88 per cent and he made some vital contributions throughout the match. Three tackles, 10 effective clearances, 10 duels won and three successful aerial battles tell their own story, while the 22-year-old also won four interceptions.

In short Okore was brilliant and his performance bodes well should Ron Vlaar leave Villa Park in January.
