Rounding up how Tottenham Hotspur’s loan stars fared at the weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur’s first-team could only draw 0-0 at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday but the clean-sheet was a welcome sight considering the defensive issues that blighted the club earlier in the campaign.
But here we take a look at how some of Tottenham’s younger stars fared as they continued their loan spells.
Tom Carroll – Swansea City
Tom Carroll enjoyed a prolonged run in the Swansea City side earlier this season but he has featured for just three minutes in their last three games and was an unused substitute in the 3-1 defeat to West Ham United on Sunday.
The 22-year-old has made seven appearances since temporarily moving to the Liberty Stadium.
Alex Pritchard – Brentford
Alex Pritchard is enjoying a fine spell having swapped Tottenham for Brentford this season, scoring three goals and providing three assists to date.
But the attacking midfielder could not help his side to victory this weekend as they lost 2-1 away to Huddersfield.
Milos Veljkovic – Middlesbrough
Centre-back Milos Veljkovic came on in the 63rd minute of Middlesbrough’s 5-1 win away to Millwall.
The 19-year-old arrived with the visitors well in control and saw a goal go in at either end following his introduction.
Grant Hall – Birmingham City
Centre-back Grant Hall started the season as a regular in Birmingham City’s starting line-up, but he has not been involved in any of the Championship side’s last six matches.
