The story of Saturday's match between Stoke City and Arsenal in pictures.

Stoke City defeated Arsenal 3-2 at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday as Mark Hughes’ side proved they can be more than a match for anyone on their day.

Peter Crouch netted after just 19 seconds to send shockwaves through Arsenal’s defence and rip up any game-plan they may have had prior to kick-off. But worse was to come for the Gunners as Bojan Krkic and Jon Walters seemingly ended the game as a contest before the interval.

Arsenal fought back in the second half as Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey netted to suggest a turnaround was on the cards. But Calum Chambers was dismissed for two bookable offences and Stoke held firm to secure another famous victory against the North London club.

Stoke responded perfectly after their 2-1 defeat against Manchester United last week but Arsenal have plenty of work to do as they head into the Christmas and New Year period.
