Ronny Deila has been adjudged as the SPFL Manager of the Month for November for his heroics with Celtic.
Celtic boss Ronny Deila has been adjudged as the SPFL Manager of the Month for November.
The 39-year-old has been given the award for Celtic’s perfect record last month which saw them lead the Scottish Premiership table.
Following a 1-0 victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Celtic Park, the Bhoys defeated Aberdeen 2-1 away.
Then came a 2-1 home triumph over Dundee, and the month finished on a high note as Celtic hammered Hearts 4-0 away.
“It means a lot because it means that we’ve done well,” Celtic’s official website quotes Deila as saying. “Football is all about teamwork and I’m working very closely with my staff all the time.
“I’m the leader of the team and this is an award for the whole team because we work so well together. And if you take it further, then the players deserve credit for playing well and getting the results.
“So everyone here has worked really hard to get the result and this is a sign that we’ve done something right.”
Celtic have started the month of December on a positive note as well, getting the better of Motherwell 1-0 away from home to go three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
