Joleon Lescott reacts on Twitter to West Brom draw, hails 'unplayable' Anichebe

The Baggies defender is remaining positive after a battling draw at Hull City.

West Brom defender Joleon Lescott has been a beacon of positivity for his side recently and continued to provide that type of presence against Hull yesterday afternoon.

After West Brom's 2-1 defeat to West Ham, Lescott was encouraged by his side's second-half battling and wanted to see more of the same.

And, after the Baggies' 1-1 draw with Hull, the centre-back was delighted to have seen that kind of hard-working display again, particularly from striker Victor Anichebe.

Meanwhile, midfielder Craig Gardner was also happy with the draw and praised Hull City's work rate:

And Hull midfielder Tom Huddlestone gave a similar verdict on proceedings to his West Brom counterparts:

Both sides' failure to win, however, will not have done them any favours in their battle for survival. Hull are in the relegation zone and West Brom hover two places above it - with only one more point than the Tigers.

Up next for the Baggies is a key local derby against Aston Villa, while Hull City travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.
