The Baggies defender is remaining positive after a battling draw at Hull City.
After West Brom's 2-1 defeat to West Ham, Lescott was encouraged by his side's second-half battling and wanted to see more of the same.
And, after the Baggies' 1-1 draw with Hull, the centre-back was delighted to have seen that kind of hard-working display again, particularly from striker Victor Anichebe.
Solid performance by the whole team today Big Vic was unplayable at times. Unlucky not to have won but it was important we never lost— Joleon Lescott (@JoleonLescott) December 6, 2014
Meanwhile, midfielder Craig Gardner was also happy with the draw and praised Hull City's work rate:
And Hull midfielder Tom Huddlestone gave a similar verdict on proceedings to his West Brom counterparts:
Hard fought point today. Lads gave everything, just couldn't find that one clear cut chance to win the game.— Tom Huddlestone (@Huddz8) December 6, 2014
Both sides' failure to win, however, will not have done them any favours in their battle for survival. Hull are in the relegation zone and West Brom hover two places above it - with only one more point than the Tigers.
Up next for the Baggies is a key local derby against Aston Villa, while Hull City travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea.
