Dexter Blackstock reacts to Forest draw on Twitter, Paterson questions penalty call

The Nottingham Forest forwards took to social media after the 1-1 draw with Charlton.

Dexter Blackstock took to Twitter after Nottingham Forest's 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

It was only the forward's third appearance of the season - and not from the start as some had expected while top scorer Britt Assombalonga was suspended.

But Blackstock was still enthused to get some game time under his belt and admitted it was great to be back at the City Ground.

Jamie Paterson, meanwhile, tweeted that he was unhappy with a penalty decision that went against Forest in Charlton's favour.

Paterson was brought down in the box and many felt a Nottingham Forest spot-kick would have been the right call.

The draw leaves Forest in 10th place in the Championship, three points off the play-off places and nine points off league-leaders Derby County.

Charlton are level on points with Stuart Pearce's side and sit a place below, with Forest traveling to Rotherham United next and Charlton hosting bottom-of-the-table Blackpool (who have picked up in form recently) in their next league fixtures.
