Anthony Stokes reacts on Twitter to Celtic win - but why is Guidetti apologising?

Celtic Champions League

The Hoops beat Motherwell 1-0 on Saturday afternoon and two of their stars took to social media after the victory.

It is plain sailing for Celtic at the minute.

The SPL champions are winning game after game and sit top of the league table. The victories have been far from straightforward, however, with scorelines close on every occasion.

But the important thing for Ronny Deila's side right now is that the results are coming for Celtic.

Yesterday afternoon, the Bhoys had Anthony Stokes to thank after the forward scored the winning goal at Motherwell.

And the match-winner took to Twitter to celebrate the result after the game.

But fellow striker John Guidetti failed to net against Motherwell and his reaction on social media might explain why Celtic fans are taking so well to the Manchester City loanee.

Indeed, the 22-year-old Swede apologised to supporters just for not hitting the scoresheet...

Celtic will no doubt hope they can prise the striker away from Manchester City on a permanent deal, although the chances of that happening are not clear as of yet.

The question, perhaps, is whether Guidetti has a better chance of success at Manchester City, the SPL or elsewhere?
