Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has made it clear that he always wants to score.
The England Under-21 international has scored 11 goals in all competitions so far this season, but he failed to find the target against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League on Wednesday.
Kane, who hit the frame of the Blues’ goal and also missed a good chance, is determined to score against Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane today.
“You have to be able to do it at this level," Tottenham’s official website quotes the 21-year-old as saying. "The games are coming thick and fast and you have to be able to handle it. It would be nice to get back on the scoresheet against Palace - that’s what I always aim to do."
Kane’s hunger for goals is certainly positive for Tottenham, who will be looking to return to winning ways today.
Having won three games on the trot heading into the clash at Chelsea, Spurs will be disappointed to have gone down so easily at the Bridge.
Last weekend Tottenham gave arguably their best performance of the season when they got the better of Everton 2-1 at home.
Winning against Palace at White Hart Lane should not prove to be too tough, especially with in-form Kane so determined.
