Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has been named the club’s Player of the Month for November.
The Spanish international continued his excellent start to the campaign, keeping clean-sheets against Crystal Palace and Hull City while also helping the club to a 2-1 win against top-four rivals Arsenal.
De Gea has been nothing short of outstanding this season and United manager Louis van Gaal will be desperate to tie him down to a new long-term contract as soon as possible.
Rumours persist that De Gea could be on the move sooner rather than later but the club must do everything in their power to ensure that does not happen.
The Spaniard was also crowned United’s best player in October and the way he is going he could make this a habit.
As reported by United’s official website the 24-year-old beat captain Wayne Rooney and midfielder Marouane Fellaini to the prize.
