Ipswich Town defeated Leeds United 4-1 at Portman Road on Saturday.
The visitors took the lead in the fourth minute courtesy of Mirco Antenucci, but any joy Leeds felt was quickly erased as a Daryl Murphy brace and a penalty from David McGoldrick put Ipswich comfortably ahead.
Christophe Berra would poke the ball over the line to ensure a fourth shortly after the interval and there was no way back for Leeds.
The defeat will be a huge comedown for Neil Redfearn's side, who defeated Derby last weekend and looked to be building their momentum at just the right time with the festive period drawing closer. But instead they have to get their confidence up again after dropping to 16th in the table while the victors remain just one point off top spot.
