Arsenal lost 3-2 to Stoke City today, after being 3-0 down.
Just when it seemed Arsenal looked as though they were ready to get back into top form, they went and put in a horrific performance against Stoke City this afternoon.
The game started poorly for Arsene Wenger's men. They found themselves behind after a few seconds after woeful defending from Calum Chambers, who ducked a header allowing Peter Crouch to score an open goal.
Bojan then scored and so did Jonathan Walters as Stoke raced into a 3-0 lead.
Goals from Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey in the space of three second half minutes seemed to give them hope but in the end they lost, not before Chambers' poor performance was compounded by a red-card.
For one Arsenal legend, it verged on unbelievable.
Ian Wright, who scored 185 goals in 288 games for The Gunners during his seven year career in North London, is rarely a man lost for words, but he could not even verbalise his disbelief via Twitter earlier today in what was an abject performance from a topsy-turvy Arsenal side:
Really? really Arsenal !— Ian Wright (@IanWright0) December 6, 2014
He then said that the fans should be worried that if they continue to put in performances like this, talented summer signing Alexis Sanchez could leave the club:
Wonder what Sanchez is thinking right now? If we carry on like this he'll leave us!— Ian Wright (@IanWright0) December 6, 2014
