Manchester United legend Gary Neville does not seem to have enjoyed Saturday evening’s Premier League clash between Manchester City and Everton.
The game at the Etihad Stadium ended in a 1-0 win for the Citizens, who have now reduced the gap between themselves and league leaders Chelsea to just three points.
Yaya Toure’s penalty in the 24th minute proved to be the difference between City and Everton in a match that had a number of controversial refereeing decisions.
Neville, a former United defender, was watching the game and gave his take on social networking site Twitter.
Poor game , poor ref performance but big win for city. Night— Gary Neville (@GNev2) December 6, 2014
City are now second in the Premier League table with 33 points from 15 matches, just three points behind leaders Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Everton are 11th in the standings with 18 points, seven points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
