Wasteland 2 devs are working on a 'passionately demanded' RPG

Wasteland 2

The latest Wasteland 2 update mentions the new RPG project.

InXile Entertainment, developers of Wasteland 2, have mentioned a new RPG the team are working on which has been "passionately demanded" from the studio. They give no more details other than additional news will be given in "the New Year".

The tease was made within an update on the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter page a few days ago.

Project Lead Chris Keenan wrote: "Along with continued tuning of Wasteland 2, myself and a few others at the studio are beginning to work on another RPG that has been passionately demanded of us for a while now! It’s still quite early in the process, but we will have more news on that in the New Year."

The update mentions that the team are continuing to tweak and stamp out bugs in Wasteland 2, but it also says some members have moved to work on Torment: Tides of Numenera, the spiritual successor to Planescape: Torment.
