Pokemon VR lets you voice command Pikachu and throw Poke Balls

A fan-made Pokémon demo showcases what it would be like to actually battle and catch Pokémon, using the Oculus Rift VR headset.

Whilst the animations for the Pokémon's attacks are basic, it still shows us what the future may hold for virtual reality when it comes to the little pocket monsters.

The demo uses motion controls, so you can actually pick up and throw your Poke Balls, as well as Voice Attack to let you shout commands for your Pokemon to react to.

Download the Pokémon VR demo created by tipatat over here, and take a look at it in action below. Gotta catch 'em all!
