Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has been singing the praises of Marouane Fellaini.
The United midfielder has been in great form in recent matches after recovering from injuries that he suffered in the opening weeks of the season.
In nine Premier League appearances, Fellaini has scored two goals and created five chances, while having a pass accuracy of 88% and a shot accuracy of 53%.
One of those goals came against Stoke City at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Tuesday when he headed in Ander Herrera's left-wing cross at the far post.
Writing in The Independent, Scholes, a former United midfielder, stated that it was his goal of the week and added: “He has shown great character.”
Signed from Everton in the summer of 2013 for £27.5 million, Fellaini failed to make an impact at Old Trafford last season and was even reported to be on United’s transfer list.
However, the Belgium international has now made himself one of the most useful players in Louis van Gaal’s team, and one would expect him to get ever better as the season progresses.
