Brentford striker Andre Gray has been named the Championship Player of the Month for November.
The 23-year-old scored five goals last month to help the Bees climb up the Championship table and into the playoff spots.
Leeds United midfielder Alex Mowatt was in the running for the award as well, but he just missed out.
The 19-year-old was a key figure for the West Yorkshire outfit last month, despite the Whites’ performances leaving much to be desired.
Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede and Birmingham City goalkeeper Darren Randolph were also in the running for the prestigious award.
Leeds fans will be disappointed for Mowatt, but given the youngster’s recent form and quality, there is no doubt that he will be nominated for such prestigious awards in the future.
Leeds are currently 15th in the Championship table with 23 points from 19 matches, just five points above the relegation zone.
