Dimon sends staff email on results of latest cancer scans

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon sent a memo out to employees on Friday that said he is completely clear of cancer.

Tests and scans this week showed that there was "no evidence of cancer" left in his body.

Dimon concluded the memo by urging employees to "take care of your health first. Nothing is more important."

On Wednesday, Dimon had announced he had completed cancer treatment and that his "prognosis is very good."

He was diagnosed with throat cancer in July and was undergoing treatment.

Shares of the biggest U.S. bank by assets rose as much as 2.7 percent to a 14-year high of $63.06 in late U.S. morning trading.
