Nemanja Vidic has had a far from ideal start to life at Inter, but his representative doesn't feel he deserves such a tough time from fans and pundits.
The Serbian international was a hero at Manchester United where he won five Premier League titles and the Champions League, but he decided to move on when his contract expired in the summer.
Inter swooped in what appeared to be an inspired piece of business when they picked up Vidic on a free transfer, but so far he has looked ill at ease in Serie A.
There have even been suggestions that Vidic could cut his losses and return to Old Trafford in the near future.
However, Vidic's agent, Silvano Martina believes that his charge has put in some creditable performances.
"But he has been subject to a level of unfair criticism. I'm still sure that Inter picked up a great bargain."
Inter are under the guidance of new coach Roberto Mancini after owner Erick Thohir finally ran out of patience with struggling tactician Walter Mazzarri.
