Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has revealed that he wants to score more than 20 goals this season.
The 26-year-old made the comment during a question and answer session on social networking site Twitter on Thursday.
. @FrankyRobertson I always say that anything over 20 goals is the target for me— Celtic Football Club (@celticfc) December 4, 2014
Former Arsenal prospect Stokes has scored five goals in 11 Scottish Premiership appearances so far this season, so his 20+ goal target is definitely achievable.
The 26-year-old has been on the books of the Bhoys since 2010, but his goal-tally is not very encouraging.
However, the Republic of Ireland striker is now maturing and is more established, and given how Celtic are playing at the moment, he certainly has got a good chance of scoring over 20 goals in all competitions this campaign.
Celtic are currently at the top of the Premiership table with 32 points from 14 matches, three points clear of the chasing pack.
