Tottenham Hotspur morning news: Pochettino upbeat, fresh Soldado exit talk

A round up of news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino says he is very positive despite the 3-0 loss at Chelsea last night.

Spurs started the game well but soon fell behind through a goal from Belgian star Eden Hazard.

“I am very positive. We tried to create chances. I think we deserved to score. We played against a very tough team. It’s disappointing because I think we started the game very well,” said the boss.

Spurs forward Roberto Soldado is once again being linked with an exit away from White Hart Lane.

The big money forward scored the winner against Everton last weekend but has struggled to have an impact under Pochettino.

The BBC points to reports suggesting he could be used in part exchange to help Tottenham sign Jackson Martinez of FC Porto.

Reports suggest that Tottenham have agreed a deal with Paris Saint-Germain for talented youngster Adrien Rabiot.

Spurs Technical Director Franco Baldini is thought to have orchestrated a deal which could be worth in the region of £30 million.
