Sky TV app launches on PlayStation 4

Sky TV app PS4 1

Sky subscribers can now use their PS4 to watch their TV shows and movies.

PS4 owners can now download the Sky TV app to their console, as announced by BSkyB.

The new app lets Sky TV customers with Go Extra or Multiscreen use their PlayStation 4 as one of their registered devices. They're looking to bring support to the PlayStation 3 in early 2015.

The Sky TV app allows Sky Go Extra customers to watch live, and on demand TV. Channels include all seven of the Sky Sports channels, with Eurosport, 11 Sky Movies channels, Sky Atlantic, and other third party channels like FOX, Nickelodeon and more. Sky Go Extra costs an added £5 per month on top of your Sky subscription, but if you have Sky Multiscreen it's free.

If you have Sky Go Extra you can register up to four devices, and it even allows you to download movies, TV shows, and box sets to your mobile, tablet, and laptop.

Head on over to the PlayStation Store to download the new app.
