On the 4th December 2013 what were the stories that dominated the football landscape? Including Manchester United, Everton, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Let's cast our eyes back to this exact day, the 4th December 2014, but a year earlier.

What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?

Here are some of the big scoops from the 4th December 2013…

Barca for Ramsey?

This time last year and Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey was being linked with a move to Barcelona!

The Welshman had started the season in incredible form for The Gunners, winning player of the month at the club every month and scoring goals for fun.

That had reportedly alerted the attention of the La Liga giants who were keen on the Welshman.

A year later however and a move to Barca seems unlikely. Since picking up an injury on Boxing Day he has struggled for his best form at the club and everyone wants to see the old Ramsey back at Arsenal.

Bryan Oviedo was the hero a year ago as Everton defeated Manchester United at Old Trafford for the first time in 21 years.

It was David Moyes' first game against his former team since taking over at Manchester United but was left dumbstruck when a late strike from the Costa Rican heaped the trouble on the Scot.

Moyes went on to lose to Everton again at Goodison Park, which spelled the end of his tenure at Manchester United.

Suarez hits four

Luis Suarez slammed home four goals against the team who hated facing him, Norwich City.

His four goals meant that he had become the first person to score a hat-trick against the same team three times in the Premier League.
