Marco Reus will not discuss Borussia Dortmund future until injury recovery

Marco Reus

German international is currently out of action with another ankle problem.

Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus is perhaps one of Europe's most wanted players. The 25-year-old has been linked with moves to Bayern Munich, Barcelona and a plethora of Premier League talent in recent times.

Manchester United and Manchester City have now been quoted in Sport Bild in holding a vested interest in the player whilst Barcelona and Real Madrid are also named.

Reus is believed to be available at a release clause of just €25 million this summer, hence why so many teams are queuing up for this bargain.

The German international is unfortunately currently out of action. The United and City target picked up yet another ankle injury, one of many recent ailments to the same joint, which sees him out of action until the new year.

So when Sport Bild asked him about his future he made it clear that the only topic currently on his mind was returning to full fitness for Dortmund as soon as possible:

"I will now address the rehabilitation with everything available to me. Everything else I disregard."

It looks like, that at least for now, Manchester United and City will have to wait until Reus is off the treatment table for any discussions to start over his future and whether it will be in England, Spain or Germany.
