Four West Ham United players who deserve FIFA 15 upgrades

EA will roll out their January update in a few weeks, so who should move up for West Ham United?

Carl Jenkinson
Current Overall: 71
Projected Overall: 73

It took the Arsenal loanee a little time to break into the starting XI, but now Jenkinson is the starting right back, he doesn't look like giving it up any time soon.

Jenkinson has been solid for West Ham, and certainly deserves an increase from his current 71 overall rating. Expect increases to his crossing, speed and stamina to reflect Jenkinson's impressive start to the campaign.

Winston Reid
Current Overall: 75
Projected Overall: 77

The star of West Ham's defence continues to be New Zealand international Reid, whose expiring contract has triggered interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Reid is currently a touch underrated by EA, and we could see upgrades to his marking, heading ability and tackling, having managed to even improve upon last season's stats in those areas. His current 75 overall rating should increase to at least 77 overall with the anticipated improvements.

Aaron Cresswell
Current Overall: 71
Projected Overall: 74

West Ham forked out around £3.75m to sign Cresswell from Ipswich Town this summer after loan left back Pablo Armero failed to make an impact last season.

So far, the 24-year-old has been superb, contributing well in an attacking sense. As a result, Cresswell should see an increase in his crossing, acceleration, stamina and his attack positioning, which should push him up to around 74 overall - possibly even higher.

Cheikhou Kouyate
Current Overall: 71
Projected Overall: 75

Whilst manager Sam Allardyce added more flair players to his side over the summer, he also snapped up another physical specimen in Senegalese international Kouyate.

Whilst not the best passer, Kouyate's 64 and 66 rating in passes is criminally low and should be increased into the 70's in January, and he could also see upgrades in strength, shot power, marking and vision, as the former Anderlecht man has proven that he's more than just a powerhouse for the Hammers.

Diafra Sakho
Current Overall: 72
Projected Overall: 74

Not much was expected of Sakho when he arrived from Metz for £3.5m in August, but his record to date has been sensational.

Yet for some reason, Sakho's FIFA representation is barely like his real ability. Sakho needs big upgrades in his heading ability, ball control, sprint speed, acceleration, reactions, stamina, strength and jumping, in a bid to reflect his athletic abilities. That should push him up to 74/75, which is more realistic based on his performances to date for the Hammers.
