80% fit and running 2.5 miles a day.
JPMorgan Chief Executive Officer Jamie Dimon, who was diagnosed with throat cancer this year, said his energy levels have rebounded after a round of treatment and that his prognosis is very good.
Bloomberg News reports that Dimon, 58, is at about 80% strength and is running as many as 2.5 miles, the CEO said Wednesday at an event in Washington sponsored by Politico.
CNN reported that Dimon finished his cancer treatment in September and was feeling fine as he began the next phase of his recovery.
The chief executive of JP Morgan announced in July that he had been diagnosed with curable throat cancer, saying his prognosis was 'excellent'.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal at the time, Dimon said he was feeling 'fine' after about eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation.
'I took naps when I had to, went home early, and there were days when I was in treatment all day long', he told the newspaper. He said he has followed the advice he gives family, friends and employees to 'take care of your health first'.
