In the summer Arsenal snapped up Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona for a fee of £32 million. It certainly looks like money well spent.
Yesterday he scored a 14th goal of the season as he began December with a bang with the winning goal against Southampton in the Premier League yesterday.
But his form in the month previous saved Arsenal on many occasions and earned him the PFA Player of the Month award. Not only that but he has also been awarded the Arsenal Player of the Month award - for the third time in a row.
He adds November to his previous September and October awards - meaning he is showing a similar run of POTM awards to the one Aaron Ramsey had at the start of the season.
He won the award comfortably with 74.4 per cent of the vote compared to 15 per cent of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and 1.2 per cent of Arsenal fans forgetting Calum Chambers put that performance in against Swansea City.
He scored against Burnley, Anderlecht, Swansea City and Borussia Dortmund in yet another excellent month.
But if he keeps playing like this he will probably win the award every single month for the rest of the season.
