Former professional footballer turned commentator Stan Collymore has made some bold predictions about tonight's four league games.
The ex-Aston Villa striker posted the following predictions on his official Twitter account earlier today:
Collymore believes Chelsea could be in for a tricky night against Spurs at Stamford Bridge. They will miss star striker Diego Costa, who is suspended for the game after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season against Sunderland.
Jose Mourinho's side are still yet to lose this season and Collymore doesn't think that record will be broken tonight. Pochettino's men don't have the best of records when facing Chelsea at the Bridge as they haven't won their since 1990.
Spurs have looked good in recent games, however, and come into the London derby on the back of three straight wins in all competitions.
Collymore has also tipped high-flying Southampton to lose their second game on the bounce when they play Arsenal at the Emirates later this evening. Ronald Koeman's team have massively exceeded expectations this season but suffered a setback on Sunday when they lost 3-0 to Manchester City at St Mary's.
Arsene Wenger's side aren't in the best of form themselves; their 1-0 win over West Brom at the weekend was their first league win in three games. But Collymore believes the Saints will come up short again against the Gunners, losing 2-0.
Elsewhere, the commentator believes that reigning champions Man City will beat Sunderland 1-0 at The Stadium of Light and Everton will secure a comfortable 3-1 home win over struggling Hull City.
