Rodney Marsh makes big statement about QPR's season

The former R's striker has made a confident proclamation about Harry Redknapp's side.

Queens Park Rangers' current predicament needs no explaining.

The R's are currently 19th in the Premier League table, with just three wins to their name from 14 league matches.

And yet, Harry Redknapp's men are only three points off 14th place - and six off 11th.

QPR may have not won a single away match so far this season but their home form has provided them with a real plus. The west London side hosted Leicester City last weekend and beat them 3-2.

This weekend, meanwhile, Sean Dyche's Burnley travel to Loftus Road - and former QPR striker Rodney Marsh has 'guaranteed' that the R's will avoid relegation if they beat the Clarets on Saturday.

At home this term, QPR have fared rather well, winning three of their seven games and losing just twice.

On the road, by contrast, Redknapp's side have lost all seven. That will no doubt increase the pressure going into Saturday's Burnley clash - but the Loftus Road faithful will be sure to shift as much of that pressure onto the visitors as they can.
