Roberto Soldado confident of Tottenham Hotspur win v Chelsea in Premier League

Roberto Soldado is confident that Tottenham Hotspur can win against Chelsea in the Premier League tonight.

Chelsea may be the best team in the Premier League, but Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado is confident of winning tonight.

The Blues will host Spurs at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League and will heat into the contest as the favourites.

On paper, Chelsea should win the match by (at least) a two-goal margin as they have far superior players and are in better form, but Soldado insists that Tottenham can get a result tonight.

“For me, Chelsea are the best team in the Premier League,” Tottenham’s official website quotes the Spaniard as saying.

“We are very good away from home and we feel we are a strong team, so we need to continue our away form and keep the confidence high.

“The win against Everton was very important. Why can’t we win at Stamford Bridge? It’s difficult but we will go there to win.”

Tottenham have won their last three games in all competitions and got the better of Everton 2-1 at White Hart Lane, meaning that they are high on confidence.

Chelsea are still unbeaten in the Premier League and are six points clear at the top of the table, and one suspects that they will be determined not to drop any points more given that they drew with Sunderland away from home at the weekend.

For Tottenham to win tonight, the players will need to step up their game and play to the best of their abilities.

Anything less, and Chelsea will ease to a win.
