Celtic manager Ronny Deila has brought in players from all over the globe, with Belgians, Ghanaians, Norwegians, Serbians and Swedes all signed in the summer.
Now though, he could be about to bring a Canadian playmaker after speculation linked him with a move to sign Jay Chapman.
The 20-year-old, who has a British father, is a product of the Toronto academy, but is currently playing in college for Michigan State, where his impressive displays are attracting interest.
Celtic aren't alone in pursuing Chapman though, as the Daily Mail speculate that Aston Villa, Sunderland and Swansea City are also monitoring his situation.
Chapman, who has represented Canada at youth level, is a lanky playmaker with quick feet and good vision for a pass in the final third, but the jump from American College games to games in England or Scotland is huge.
Clearly one for the future, Celtic will have a battle on their hands if they are to sign Chapman, whose potential may well attract even more suitors in the coming months.
For a taste of what Chapman can offer, here's a video of his time in the States...
