Hull City take on Everton this evening in a vital match for the Tigers.

Steve Bruce’s side dropped into the relegation zone following Burnley’s point against Newcastle on Tuesday and he will want them to turn their form around starting with the trip to Goodison Park.

That is easier said than done but the simple fact is Hull should be considerably higher given the players at their disposal and those stars must now step up.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Tom Huddlestone should return after being left out of the match against Manchester United.

Gaston Ramirez is suspended and £10million summer signing Abel Hernandez is on paternity leave.

In other news, Nick Barmby and a number of ex-Hull stars will take to the field for a special charity match against fans of the club.

The Hull Daily Mail reports that the match will be in memory of a teenage fan of Hull who died of an undiagnosed heart condition.

Raising funds for Cardiac Risk in the Young the game will take place at 11:00am on Sunday December 28.
