De Gea, Blind, Fellaini & co react on Twitter to Manchester United win

David Gea saves against Sunderland

Manchester United stars took to Twitter to celebrate their win over Stoke City.

Several of Manchester United's stars took to Twitter after their 2-1 win over Stoke City.

The Red Devils won thanks to goals from Marouane Fellaini and Juan Mata, with Steven N'Zonzi equalising in between.

United were forced to hang on at the end, with Ashley Young blocking a late chance and David de Gea performing heroics in goal.

It is a fourth win in a row for Louis van Gaal's side, who remain in fourth in the league, but two points behind Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

United should really have put the game to bed ahead of the late drama, dominating with 63 per cent possession and having 10 shots on goal to Stoke's five.

Crucially the Red Devils competed in the air, winning 17 header to Stoke's 10, with the away side unable to match their reputation as a team to be feared aerially.

Along with David de Gea, Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini took to Twitter to talk up their satisfaction with the result, along with injured Dutchman Daley Blind who was watching on.
