Casper Sloth has not even been on the bench for Leeds of late.

There has been a lot of change at Leeds over the opening months of the season, and a player who has got lost in the shuffle is Casper Sloth.

Signed by Dave Hockaday in the summer, the attacking midfielder has been a missing man as of late, out of favour.

Sloth has lost his place to Brazilian starlet Adryan, and recently he has not even been on the substitute's bench.

The last time he featured was in the 2-2 draw against Charlton, playing the final 17 minutes, while prior to that his three substitute appearances amassed 38 minutes combined.

The Dane has played 90 minutes only once, and has not started since October 4 against Sheffield Wednesday, a match in which he was hooked off at full-time.

Given the way Nicky Ajose has been sent packing already, should Sloth be wary about his future in January?

Much may depend on the situation with Adryan. The Brazilian is in on loan, and should they be unsuccessful in acquiring him long-term, a decision to sell Sloth may land up looking silly.

The attacker is just 22, and played 133 games for his previous club Aarhus, and would surely develop from playing regular football.

Adryan will have to be rested at some stage, and Sloth may yet show his talent this campaign, even if Neil Redfearn has shown he likes academy youngster Chris Dawson in the role.

Sloth's big problem is in his 422 minutes of football so far, he has shown very little and not offered much link up play with the strikers.

Adryan, a player two years younger, has created six more chances and has two assists to his none, in less than 100 more minutes of first team action.

With a busy period of games coming up, there's a chances Sloth will be recalled soon, but until he does, the questions as to his future and present role at the club will remain.
