The agent of Victor Valdes has been quoted as saying his client will soon be playing again.
The Spanish international has been training with Manchester United as he looks to regain his match fitness following a serious injury, with reports suggesting Louis van Gaal could offer him a contract in due course.
The long-term future of David de Gea remains in the air, with the goalkeeper yet to sign a new contract at Old Trafford and his current deal expiring in 2016; and some have suggested Valdes has been brought in to ease the blow if his countryman does leave.
De Gea himself recently moved to quell such speculation, saying that was not the reason Valdes was training with United, but mystery surrounds both stoppers and only time will tell where they will be playing in the future.
The only question is, where will he be playing?
