Simon Mignolet cannot buy a consistent run of performances at the moment.
That's the only way to sum the above picture up, as a Leicester shot ricocheted off the post and into Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. After hitting the hapless Belgian, there was only one place for the ball to go: the back of the net.
On-the-line defender Martin Skrtel can perhaps not be blamed for failing to provide a Supermanesque reaction to save the goal - but his face paints a quaint picture, too.
In truth, the photos of Leicester City's opener last night, which will provide hilarity to many non-Liverpool fans, summed up Mignolet's season so far.
Kolo Toure, Lucas Leiva, Glen Johnson and more were all at fault but it was Mignolet that ultimately scored the own goal - just moments after he had handed a goalscoring opportunity to Esteban Cambiasso on a plate.

Overall, Liverpool produced a much-improved display as they beat Leicester and there will be real optimism after Brendan Rodgers' side secured back-to-back wins.
But it still appears the Reds need some serious work in the January transfer window. Liverpool would be wise to put in some extra defensive shifts in training too, of course, but Mignolet and co have had months to do that and look to have achieved absolutely nothing so far...
