Former Manchester United and Liverpool striker Michael Owen believes that tonight’s clash between West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United will end in a draw.
“The Baggies’ have failed to score in their last three PL fixtures and you have to go back to 2003 for the last time they failed to find the back of the net in four successive PL games,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“The Hammers, on the other hand, have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last dozen PL games on their travels and this is a very tough game to call. The draw looks the value.”
West Brom will head into the match placed 15th in the Premier League table with 13 points from as many matches, while West Ham are just a point behind Manchester United in fifth.
Sam Allardyce’s side also returned to winning ways at the weekend when they got the better of Newcastle United 1-0 at home, and they will fancy their chances tonight.
