Max Gradel clearly still has a lot of love for Leeds United.
Former Leeds United player Max Gradel has sent a message to the club’s official Instagram account saying that he wishes he was there.
The Ivory Coast winger made 82 appearances for Leeds during his spell at Elland Road, scoring 25 goals and providing 15 assists in that time.
He now plays for Saint-Etienne, where he has featured almost 100 times, but the Championship club is still obviously in his heart and his latest message has hinted that he still dreams of turning out for them again.
Fresh off the back of their outstanding 2-0 win against Derby County at the weekend, Leeds’ current crop of players took part in a calendar signing session at the Elland Road Superstore on Tuesday, and Gradel used his own account to send a message to his former club.
“Wish I was there too,” he wrote, which prompted a number of fans to call for his return and say he would be welcome back at the club any time.
Who knows, he may just take them up on that…
