Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger gave updates on several areas ahead of the game against Southampton tomorrow.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted to question marks over the fitness of three key players ahead of the match against Southampton.
"We have some question marks about Monreal, Gibbs and Oxlade-Chamberlain."
"Szczesny is still out - Debuchy and Ospina are one week away."
"I'm hoping one of Gibbs or Monreal will be available."
On the issue of Southampton, Wenger praised the Saints' defence despite their 3-0 defeat against Manchester City last weekend.
"Southampton are stable at the back and new signings have integrated well."
"If Southampton can maintain run, they can challenge [for Champions League places]."
"It's a big game and an opportunity to show consistency in our results."
The boss also tipped Arsenal legend Thierry Henry to return to the club at some point in the future after his association with New York Red Bulls came to an end.
"Certainly one day he will come back here. In what capacity, I don't know."
"I understand that he wants to reflect for a while on what he wants to do [next]."
Wenger also dealt with questions over his tactics for the game against West Brom, suggesting he wanted to see how a trio of his attacking players blended together.
"I wanted to see Giroud, Sanchez and Welbeck together."
