West Ham United co-chairman David Gold says that reports of Mauro Zarate leaving in January comes as news to him.

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has seemed to suggest that Mauro Zarate will not leave the club in the January transfer window.

There have been suggestions that the Argentine forward could depart the Premier League outfit for Spanish club Malaga on loan.

The reports stem from the fact that the 27-year-old has yet to make himself a regular in Sam Allarydyce’s starting line-up following his move in the summer.

However, Gold appears to dismiss all these rumours on social networking site Twitter.

Zarate also seems to be committed to West Ham, posting the following picture on Twitter.

In six Premier League appearances so far this season, Karate has scored two goals and created seven chances, while having a 85% pass accuracy and a 100% shot accuracy.
