Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Glenn Hoddle believes that Sergio Aguero is a better striker than Diego Costa.
Both Manchester City star Aguero and Chelsea ace Costa have been in superb form so far this season, leading to a debate among the Premier League followers on who the better player is.
Hoddle, a former Tottenham and Chelsea player, claims that Aguero is the better striker and told Sky Sports, according to The Daily Mail: “He's the best finisher in the world.
“He’s just above [Diego] Costa at this moment in time. Where would City be without him? They'd certainly be out of the Champions League.
“As a defender, you may think you're marking him, but you're not. He's in between defenders, it's so hard to mark.”
Former Atletico Madrid striker Aguero has scored 12 goals and created 14 chances in 13 Premier League appearances, while having a 82% pass accuracy and a 63% shot accuracy.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Costa, who moved to the Blues from Atletico in the summer transfer window, has scored 11 goals and created 18 chances in 11 league appearances, while having a pass accuracy of 79% and a shot accuracy of 81%.
