Deila wants big move for Van Dijk
Celtic boss Ronny Deila is hoping that Virgil Van Dijk gets a move to one of Europe's top clubs, if he does leave Celtic Park in the near future.
The Dutch defender has attracted the interest of a number of clubs because of his brilliant form and Deila is hoping that he doesn't move to a middle of the road side in England.
"He’s going to be expensive, but he loves being here. I really hope he stays," Deila said to the Scottish Evening Times. "That’s the priority. But, if he’s going, I hope it’s to a big club, not an average Premier League team."
Ronny Deila admits that he was expected a greater test from Hearts than the side actually got.
The Bhoys strolled to success against a Hearts team who are still unbeaten in the Scottish Championship this season and Deila was surprised by how easy it was.
“It was a calmer afternoon than I had expected beforehand," he said to the Express. "We pressed well and got the four goals, which made the victory comfortable."
Law admits low confidence
Rangers star Nicky Law has explained that confidence is low at Ibrox after a poor start to the season.
The Light Blues have come under pressure, after falling nine points behind Hearts in the league, but they did win against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup this weekend.
It was a result which helped the side regain some much needed positivity and Law is hoping that it sparks a good run.
"Our confidence had taken a bit of a bruising in the last two weeks and it was not a great football match," he said to the Scottish Evening Times. "Hopefully this will be the start of another good run for us."
