Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has expressed his delight at scoring against Heart of Midlothian away from home on Sunday.
The former Arsenal prospect found the target in the 54th minute at the Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh to lead the Bhoys to a comprehensive 4-0 victory in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.
Stoke was understandably delighted and took to social networking site Twitter to revel in the success.
On the scoresheet, great performance and the fans were brilliant... A good day at the office!!— Anthony Stokes (@stoksey10) November 30, 2014
Virgil van Dijk scored twice for Celtic and John Guidetti slotted home a penalty for Celtic against Hearts, who were reduced 10 men after just 10 minutes due to the dismissal of Morgaro Gomis following a two-footed challenge on Scott Brown.
Celtic are currently at the top of the Scottish Premiership table with 29 points from 13 matches. Ronny Deila’s side are back in action on Wednesday when they host Partick Thistle.
