Liverpool players took to Twitter after yesterday's 1-0 win over Stoke City at Anfield.
Liverpool's dismal season so far had a slight upturn on Saturday when Brendan Rodgers' side notched a 1-0 win over Stoke City at Anfield
It was threatening to be another frustrating day for the Reds as they couldn't break the Potters down in the first half, and when Bojan hit the post for Stoke, the tension was mounting at Anfield.
Yet there was a surprise hero for Liverpool, as with just five minutes to play, Glen Johnson head the ball home from close range after Rickie Lambert's head came back out off the crossbar.
The three points were much needed for Liverpool after last weekend's debacle at Crystal Palace, and moved back up into 11th place with 17 points.
Liverpool aren't quite back to their brilliant best of last season, but it was a step in the right direction, as Rodgers dropped regulars such as Dejan Lovren, Alberto Moreno and Steven Gerrard.
After the game today. Really happy to be back playing and even more important than that the 3 points. pic.twitter.com/8dQqu4cyNP— José enrique (@Jesanchez3) November 29, 2014
